The History of Beer in America

Beer Tasting at WGBH Studios on April 18th 6-8pm. Sample beer - five flights to be exact - of historical brews, along with live entertainment from a traditional fife and drum band.

Spring Beer Fest 2013

Boston Event Guide is hosting the Spring Beer Fest on April 19th at Cyclorama in Boston. Try the Rush Hour Tasting from 5-7:30pm or the Friday Night Tasting Party from 8-11:00pm. There will be beers from around the world to try, food sampling and fun msuic.  There will even be a sushi rolling and sake class.

Blue Hills Brewery Tasting

Swing by Atlas Liquors in Medford (156 Mystic Ave) on April 19th to try some of Blue Hills Brewery's newest and freshest releases. Sampling set-up from 5-7:00pm. 

Pretty Things In-Store Tasting

On April 25th from 5-7:00pm you can try some of the delicious offerings from Pretty Things beer at Streetcar Wine & Beer (488 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain).  It is free, open to those 21+ and will include seasonal releases like the Once Upon A Time 1939 No. 1 Ale.

Calling all foodies, artisan craft food devotees, craft brew fans, localvores, brew hobbyists, and the curious minded! Join us for the SBN's 2nd Annual Hyper-Local Craft Brewfest June 14th and 15th at Arts at the Armory in Somerville.  New this year, for the Friday evening session, SBN will launch our first Hyper-Local Home-Brew Showcase, highlighting home-brews and home-brewing with local ingredients.
